Arvo Anson Restoration

When the NAHC first began back in 2009, one of its goals was to acquire and restore an Avro Anson aeroplane, leaving it as a legacy to this and future generations. This project is now well underway. In fact, the Avro Anson was relocated into the Ahrens Hangar at Nhill Aerodrome in February 2014, and the first engine was started in September that year. The restoration of this magnificent plane is almost complete.
